1.Where do you get mareep?

1.Since this is Crystal, you can't get Mareep in this game; you must trade from gold/silver.

2.What items do you equip?

If you mean to open the secret door in the back of the rooms, you have to bring what it says on its wall. When it says Ho-oh, bring Ho-oh first in your party.

When it says light or flash, use Flash there. When it says water, make a Pokemon hold water stone. When it says escape, use an Escape Rope.

3. The best ball would probably be Fast Ball.

Mareep does not appear in Crystal.

And it is preferable to use Fast Balls on Raikou (white apricorns).

1. From Voilet City go south to as if you were going to the Ruins of Alph, in the grasses you should find one.

1) I'm here to help you dude first you can find mareep between the city with the ghost gym in it and the gym with steel pokemon.

You have to trade one to it from pokemon gold or silver.

answer: you equip what it says e.g: water= waterstone, etc...

3.What Kurt balls do you use on raiku?
answer: i used a fast ball but the best way to start is to have a pokemon with a sleep powder or some other sleeping move and the move MEAN LOOK and a really strong scyther/scizor with FALSE STRIKE ( this works with any other rare pokemon you want to catch aswell)

First, you equip the pokemon that has MEAN LOOK ,with a QUICK CLAW so it goes first then use MEAN LOOK so the pokemon you want can't escape

Then, use a sleeping move on that pokemon

Now finally! get your scyther out and keep using false strike until that pokemons health is down to 1 NOTE: false stike does not let you kill a pokemon it only takes it down to 1hp.....
now use a fast ball (found by giving kurt a white acorn from the tree behind his house) or hyper ball, whatever you have, and voila! this is the BEST tip for catching pokemon so fake cheats needed just good old fashioned brain power!
Use this same move on all legendary pokemon or any pokemon that trys to escape!
