#9 - Pokemon Trainer Benga (Black 2 / White 2)

We know, a little high for a trainer that had only one appearance and only three Pokemon. But he was one of the best trainers found in the Fifth Generation Sequels, and he didn't go down easy.

Benga's Team was led by one of the Eon Duo, depending on which game you have. On top of having either Latias or Latios, he also has one of the best dragons found in Pokemon in either Dragonite or Garchomp (again, depending on the game you are playing). If you thought it couldn't get any worse, he also has Volcarona, the best Quiver Dance users in all the land.

Oh, and let's not forget ALL of his Pokemon are at LEVEL EIGHTY...

#8 - Hoenn Champion Steven Rematch (Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire)

It's splitting hairs at this point in the countdown, as all of the remaining battles each have their own right at the title. We place Steven's ORAS Rematch here - though it could still be ranked higher - mainly because his team can be defeated with a Water and Fire type Pokemon. We wish we could say its an easy defeat, but that would be far from the truth.

All of his Pokemon, especially Aggron, Carbink, Claydol and Skarmory, have some serious bulk to them. All of them will take more than one hit to defeat, so you better be ready for a fight. Throw in offensive nightmares like Aerodactyl and Mega Metagross, and you could seriously have a problem on your hands. And since all of his Pokemon are now pushing Level 80, you need to be prepared.

He's the champion for a reason, and even though he doesn't have the best variety of Pokemon on his team, he still has more than enough power to defeat any trainer that crosses his path.
