Top 10 Playstation Games that need to be on PSOne Classics
6. Strider 2
Personally, I am baffled as to why Strider 2 has yet to make it to the PSOne Classics line-up. Earlier this year Double Helix released another entry/reboot to the series, and this would have been perfect to help build up hype for the fan base, or used as a pre-order incentive, or something else similar… but here we are, months after the release of the positively received reboot, and with no easy way to explore the series' past.
Strider 2 is the real sequel to the original Strider, which made its console release on the Sega Genesis, discounting the Genesis title Strider Returns, which was outsourced to another developer. Strider 2 keeps the original's frantic, fast paced action intact, while expanding on the content with more and longer levels.
Strider 2 is (or was) also noteworthy for its graphics. The game has a 2.5D style to it, incorporating 3D background on a 2D field. It hasn't aged as well as the complete pixelated look of the original title, but the background gives an a nice feeling of depth despite only being able to move in two dimensions, and the enemies that are rendered in 3D certainly feel more intimidating and fitting in the cold, mechanical world that the series takes place in.
It may not be one of the 'biggest' or 'most impressive' titles in the PlayStation library, but it's a solid action title that deserves a bit more recognition. It may have missed its 'primetime' for sales and promotion with the coming and going of the release of the 2014 Strider, but plenty of action fans would surely like a chance to dive into this adventure.

I HATED Clock Tower. I read all the previews for it and it sounded like a great horror game. I bought it the day it came out and the game didn't do anything for me; I thought it was a horrible game
