#5 - Pokemon XD001 & Boss Greevil (Gale of Darkness)

You can't imagine how happy we are that these two hand-and-hand final battles are ranked fifth. It's not because we just loved Gale of Darkness far better than any other Pokemon Game, but rather because how easier it was to do compared to the final battle in Pokemon Colosseum. Seriously, that final battle is evil...

But still, Shadow Lugia does take a whole lot to catch it. It's at an extremely high level, and it doesn't mind ruining your team in the meantime as you try your best at catching it. After doing your best to catch it and somehow stay alive, you immediately go into battle with Greevil, who has all three of the Legendary Bird Trio including in his team. Defeating virtually four straight Legendary Pokemon is a challenge, especially going from one to the next. Be prepared.

#4 - Rival Wally Battle Mansion Rematch (Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire)

Out of all our selections, since could be the one we seriously underrate. Wally wasn't the greatest ever Rival, he didn't even compare to May or Brendan, but the team he has at the very end of OmegaRuby and Alpha Sapphire is no joke. How good are his Pokemon? Combined in level, they are really only beat by the Pokemon Trainer Red of HeartGold and SoulSilver. Yeah, they are that strong.

Just listen to some of the Pokemon he had at the end of the game: Gale Wings Talonflame, Huge Power Azumarill, Rough Skin Garchomp, and Mega Gallade. His team is the perfect combination of strength and speed, bulk and stall, offense and defense. There is no doubt he deserves to be in the top five, and he even has a conversation to be the toughest trainer of all.
