Enter travel speed to set sail towards Megaris. As you get near the Megarian beach, you’ll find an Athenian blockade. You’ll have no choice but to engage them in combat and fight them all at once. Don’t worry since your ship is capable of winning this engagement.
First, target their two smaller vessels and take them out. A direct broadside ram is enough to disable these ships. Next, engage the larger ship of the blockade and use what you learned from the tutorial earlier to defeat it. Board the ship and finish off the crew. Loot the treasure to complete the sequence and objective. Take note that this action will raise your bounty to LV2 but there’s nothing you can do about it at the moment.
Continue your approach to Megaris and a cutscene will play automatically. You won’t be able to talk to Nikolaos immediately but Stentor will attend to you. In order to get an audience with Nikolaos, you’ll have to help the Spartan army secure a victory in the nation.
To trigger a Conquest Battle, you’ll have to weaken the nation’s power by performing various activities such as killing soldiers of that nation, burning War Supplies, and pillaging Nation Treasures. Higher level soldiers like fort captains and commanders are worth more points but they’re harder to kill. War Supplies can be found in various military camps while Nation Treasures are inside heavily-guarded forts. This mechanic will be prominent for the rest of the game.
