Kill Nick's infected friend then report back to him.

You can find Nick and the small band of survivors in the area below:

After accepting the quest, climb the ladder in the side of the building then enter the abandoned house from the roof. Kill Nick's buddy then unlock the door. Talk to Nick to complete the quest and receive your reward.

The place will also become your new supply point, allowing you to fast travel and maintain/ upgrade your weapons.
you get stuck in the house if you use a grenade on the thug and he is to close to the door....this will destroy the bar that is jamming the door...
you know you are stuck if you can't see the bar jamming the the door....
if you use an explosive on the thug, wait for him to get further away from the door before using explosive....or....just fight him the old fashioned way......
Me too, i entered the house and stuck till i'm dead, then reloading still lead me stuck there... a cloudy like is every where and cannot see anything xcept dark figure or something like an oak tree like figure is fadely seen and i cannot move anywhere, please help if u can
i got stuck too. how do you unlock the door.
I just attempted to do this sidequest but I can't unlock the door I'm just stuck in the abandoned house.
