AFK Arena Walkthrough and Guide

AFK Arena is an idle RPG adventure game for iOS and Android set in the fantasy land of Espearia where you must forge alliances with other players you meet and prevent an ancient evil from destroying the realm, this means venturing deep into the heart of Esperia's many mazes situated within the Peaks of Time. Your objective in this level-based progression game is to develop the most powerful team in order to clear as many dungeons as possible. When you get stuck in the progress, you will have to dedicate your time towards improving your party's levels and gears, or summon additional heroes to help you fight the enemies. Spending Diamonds

When you begin playing AFK Arean avoid the temptation of spending the Diamonds you earn on Hero Essence or Gears because as you progress in the game you will eventually get them anyway. Only spend the Diamonds on buying x10 common hero sroll Hero Summons.

Buy Hero Essence with Gold

One of the most important materials in AFK Arena is Hero Essence and you will need it throughout the game whenever your Hero hits the cap. Try to buy Hero Essence every day using Gold in the Store.

Exchange Green Heroes

At the beginning of the game you should keep one green hero from each of the six different factions (Lightbearers, Mauler, Wilders, Graveborns, Celestials, and Hupogeans) to do Bounty Missions. Otherwise get rid of them by going to Ranthorn, selecting the Rickety Cart and the 'Retire Heroes' option and remove them in exchange for Hero Essence. Later in the game you will be able to get rid of green heroes automatically by turing on the 'Auto Retire Heroes' option.

Collect your Fast Rewards

Make sure that you remember to claim your fast rewards every 12 hours. The fast Rewards reset every 12 hours and collecting them two times per day will enable you to get Gold, EXP and items to help you progress on the campaign. If you are not able to do this right before the daily reset collect them before you go to bed.

Use Resonating Crystal

Resonating Crystal is located at Ranthorn and using it will help you level up your Heroes and surpass their limits. Resonating Crystal is a special feature in AFK Arena that allows you to level up multiple Heroes to the same level as the 5th highest level Hero you have.

Don't Ascend your Heroes Too Fast

Don't ascend your Heroes to the next tier until you have a reason to do so. Ascending your Heroes without having enough copy may limit you in the future. One of the benefits of not ascending your Heroes too fast is that it will allow you to save the fodder Heroes for the better uses. When sacrificing Heroes do not get rid of those that have 4 skills. Below are the requirements needed to ascend a Hero.

• Rare+ from Rare

Requires 2 Rare copies of the Hero you want to ascend

• Elite from Rare+

Requires 2 Rare+ Heroes in the same faction.

• Elite+ from Elite

Requires 1 Elite copy of the Hero you want to ascend.

• Legendary from Elite+

Requires 2 Elite + Heroes in the same faction.

• Legendary+ from Legendary

Requires 1 Elite+ copy of the Hero you want to ascend.

• Mythic from Legendary+

Requires 1 Legendary+ Heroes in the same faction.

• Mythic+ from Mythic

Requires 1 Legendary+ Heroes in the same faction.

• Ascended from Mythic+

Requires 2 Elite+ copies of the Hero you want to ascend.

Arcane Labyrinth

The Arcane Labyrinth is a game mode in AFK Arena where your objective is to defeat the boss of each floor in order to get the rewards. There are 3 floors in total and the difficulty increases with each subsequent floor. When playing Arcane Labyrinth focus on HP, Life Leech, Energy Regeneration and General Sustain Relics. Also, focus on the red flags so you can get the Elite/Legendary Relics.

Pick Up Nemora

You can find Nemora in the Labyrinth and she is worth picking up as she has the ability to heal up your whole team and help you go further. She is Undoubtably one of the Best Heroes you can get from the Labyrinth.

Unable to Progress

When you find youself stuck at a level and unable to progress in AFK Arena you will need to either wait a day or two to build up your Fast Rewards and use them to boost your team or alternately explore other content aside from the main story which is available from the Dark Forest screen. All of which will give you additional gold, EXP, and Diamonds.

Change your Heroes Formation

When you are stuck on a tough level you may be able to solve the problem without having to spend time farming and grinding by moving the position of your units around so they are in a formation which is more suited for the challenge.

Do the Daily and Weekly Quests

You can earn Quest points which will reward you with additional Diamonds and hero summons by completing the various daily and weekly quests. Try and do as many of these quests as you can as the rewards they give are the most important resources in the game.
