In order to level up so that you become stronger in Anthem you need to earn XP. The best way to get XP fast and also unlock new gear and weapons for your Javelin at the same time is to complete the main story missions.
Playing with friends you are in sync with via the Alliance stystem and completing missions can earn you bonus XP. Another way to earn XP quickly is by grinding Quickplay mode by joining in-progress missions, or by playing Anthem on a harder difficulty which will reward you with XP bonuses.
Check out the bulleting board near Yarrow and complete contracts as a Freelancer, these are basically side missions that reward you XP along with new gear and weapons when you successfully complete them. You can also complete Expeditions Feats, mini challenges inside missions that are accessed during a mission that is in progress and will grant you bonus XP at the end.
Always collect the resources and blueprints you come across as you explore the world of Anthem and store them in your safe. Your stored resources and blueprints will eventually come in useful for crafting when you have reached a certain level in the game or when you have cmpleted the main story of the game.
It is important that you try collect a decent amount of resources from each of the different areas you visit. If you find that your inventory has run out of room you can always free up some additional space by dismantling weapons and items that you don't need. Try to save as many resources as you can as the best weapons and items in Anthem are obtained after completing the main story of the game.
During combat keep an eye out for ammo packs that are dropped by your enemies because when you pick them up you will automatically reload the magazines of your guns. If you have high capacity weapons with slow reload times you will find being able to do this extremely useful.
There is no need to depend on your weekly Alliance System payout in order to get coins as you can also obtain them from Treasure Chests in Freeplay mode. The most reliable and also the easiest way in which to find Treasure Chest locations is to completie the World Events that occur while you fly around exploring the Bastion. If you find a Treasure Chest make a point of remembering it's location as a Treasure Chest can spawn there again in future.
It is essential that you keep an eye on your heat meter as your suit will begin to overheat the longer you are in the air. Once the heat meter is full you will have no option but to land on the ground. There are ways however in which you can extend the amount of time you stay in the air, these include flying in a wave formation, gliding up and down instead of a straight path, flying through water to cool your jets, and attaching exclusive perks to your gear.
