Upon arriving, you will be in The Town Hall. Tell Pelly the duck that you just moved in and she will tell you that a certain Tom Nook is looking for you and your small home is waiting to be occupied. You will acquire the Town Map from her. Using the map, head to your house first.

Your house will only have an old radio and a candle. Over time, your house will upgrade and you will be able to put lots of things and decorations inside it. Head outside once you're done checking.

Tom Nook will meet you outside and offer you a job proposition. Now you will need to pay Tom Nook 19,800 bells in debt and you have to work for him in order to do it. Put out the map and search for his store and head there as soon as possible.
