Starting Weapons

Some good weapons to start the game with are the Machete along with the Breaker's Bow. You can use the Machete against enemies at close-range, while the Breaker's Bow is powerful against any turrets which may cause you issues, taking them out with a couple of strikes.

You can collect three Carrion Bones and upgrade the Repeater Crossbow, which should be the point at which you ditch the Bow.

Unlockable: New Game Plus Mode

There is an additional game mode available in Bastion. Having completed the game once, you area able to play through it again, keeping all of your experience, weapons and upgrades, in New Game Plus Mode.
