When you achieve 100% completion the True ending will become unlocked. Getting 100% includes ALL the side quests and Riddler challenges.

Focus on the supervillain side missions on your playthrough as it is those that contribute to the true ending.

When you complete Story mode the 'New Story Plus' option will become available at the main menu. In New Story Plus mode you will retain your WayneTech upgrades and Experience points and play under the Knightmare difficulty setting.

When you are in Battle mode keep an eye out for places throughout Gotham that you can use the Power Winch. These locations will be indicated by an R1 icon and secret goodies such as Riddler trophies can often be found there.

If you drive at high speed in the Batmobile and then jump out of it by double tapping the X button you can gain plenty of height and be able to fly around the city.

To get the most XP from combat encounters you need to mix up combos.

Dodge vehicles whenever possible to avoid taking damage in the Batmobile early in the game because when you reach the later half of the game you will encounter plenty of enemy vehicles.

Use Battle mode when you are in the Batmobile and need to navigate a tight space or line up a jump. You will find the Batmobile will be easier to control in Battle mode.

Take advantage of your special weapons when you encounter large groups of enemies. The level 2 missile barrage for instance is particularly effective when you are in the Batmobile as it enables you to take out three vehicles at once.

Capture 14 of Gotham's most wanted by the end of the game to unlock the alternate ending.

Complete New Story Plus mode to unlock this special post-game mode that requires the player to complete the entire New Game Plus campaign without dying a single time.

When Batman is fighting alongside an ally an effective move to use against the enemy is dual takedowns.
