In this `Survivor.io best weapons guide we take a look at the best weapons that you can put in the weapons slot of your equipment loadout. We choose for you what we think are the best standard weapons, ie. the ones that you don't have to complete special events for or try to acquire with crates, and also the special weapons that are available in the game, but are much harder to acquire.
The weapons slot in the equipment loadout is the most important element of all the slots. It's the one that will do damage to the enemies in the game. Let's take a look first at the standard weapons in the game, these are the easiest to get and to upgrade and the ones that the majority of players will be using.
As with all pieces of equipment, they come in 5 grades, so once you have the weapon that you want, you still have to try to merge it to upgrade it to the higher levels and unlock more grade skills.
Grade Skills
Good (Green) - Attack +10%
Better (Blue) - Kunai Damage +30%
Excellent (Purple) - Start with Lv2 Kunai
Epic (Yellow) - Attack +15%
Legendary (Red) - Kunai will split after hitting enemy
The Kunai is my #1 choice in Survivor.io for the standard weapons if you want to target the boss or are having trouble defeating bosses in the game. It will literally focus it's attack on the boss when it appears, assisting you a lot with a long range attack against these difficult opponents.
The drawback is that the Kunai is not so strong against the waves of enemies that flood your screen. So if you go with the Kunai, make sure that you pick up weapon skills in the game that will help you deal with the masses of enemies, so this could be the forcefield device, or the drones for example.
Evolution: Get the Koga Spirit Scroll to evolve into Spirit Shuriken. The Spirit Shuriken will also automatically target the enemy which is the closest, but it will be fired at a much faster rate and inflict more damage.
Grade Skills
Good (Green) - Attack +10%
Better (Blue) - Attacks inflict Bleed
Excellent (Purple) - Knockback Distance Doubled
Epic (Yellow) - Attack +15%
Legendary (Red) - Swing Range Becomes Circular
The Baseball Bat is my #1 choice of the standard weapons if you are having trouble with the waves of enemies on the screen, it's knockback feature and ability to hit more than one enemy at a time make it a strong choice for most of the levels. It's not too great against the bosses though as you have to get quite close for it to be effective. So, if you have chosen the Baseball Bat as your equipped weapon, consider choosing weapon skills that will do more damage to the bosses to help you out when you get to them, these could be the brick, RPG or lightning emitter for example.
Evolution: Get the Fitness Guide to evolve the Baseball Bat into Lucille. It should always be the aim to get any of your weapons to evolution level during a round. The Lucille transforms the Baseball Bat into a 360 degree swiping machine and an awesome weapons against the hoards. The other bonus is that the Fitness Guide is a really useful supply skill to get in the game anyway, it will increase your max hit points and if you are low on health, getting a fitness guide will give you the extra max hit points as an initial HP boost too.
Other Standard Weapons
Well to be honest they are not that great, go with either the Kunai or the Baseball bat, depending on where you are having trouble, the others are fun to try out, but these two that I have listed above are the best weapons until you manage to unlock one of the S Tier Weapons, these are explained below.
The S-Tier weapons will always be the best choice, but unlocking them is another matter. You'll have to either open a load of special supply crates or do some heavy grinding in an event or two which features these special S Tier weapons as a reward.
Currently there are two S-Tier weapons that are available in the game, Lightchaser and Void Power. Below we take a look at both, and let you how to get them.
The Lightchaser can be obtained from time to time when there is a special supply crate offer which promises to give one lightchaser within 100 supply crate openings. Look out for this offer in the shop.
The other way to get the Lightchaser is during special events which appear from time to time. Look out for these in the Events Calendar tab on the main game screen. I obtained my Lightchaser through events, getting it without spending any cash, so it is possible! It just took a lot of grinding! The Lightchaser is now my #1 weapon choice in all games, it's like the baseball bat, just a lot stronger and has enough range to be able to do good damage to bosses too without having to get super close.
So, look out for the events to get the Lightchaser, and if you are able to, and have the time to grind, these events are the best way to get a Lightchaser for free in Survivor.io.
The Void Power is another big step up in weapon power, but is even harder to obtain than the Lightchaser. Currently it is obtainable from time to time by opening up special supply crates, check the shop when these are available. In the future, it may be available in special events, so check out the events center tab to look out for these.
Also, follow the official Twitter and Facebook feeds for the game, these usually drop information of special events that are upcoming that may unlock these special weapons or other rare pieces of equipment.
Void Power basically fires fires black holes, these holes then suck in the enemies, either doing an incredible amount of damage or killing them. It has to be the #1 OP weapon currently available in Survivor.io, but getting it comes at a price. A price which is too big for me personally, and I'm happy with the Lightchaser.
