Pistols (WePi)

DC3 Elite
It is based on the Desert Eagle and the Beretta 92. It is the only 'hybrid'
gun in the game, the rest all being based on real life guns.
Clip Size: 15
Power: 7/10
Rate of Fire: Clip of 15 rounds in 4.6 seconds = 196 rounds per minute.
Reload Time: 3 seconds
Supressor: Yes
Use: Short to medium range. Not very useful in the long term when you could
swap it for a shotgun or a sniper or whatever.
A good solid handgun, surprisingly powerful. Usually a 2 shot kill. Slightly
slow on the reloading side, but it does carry more rounds than the Glock.
Can be equipped with a supressor, making a pretty lethal gun.

Glock
The in-game Glock is based on the Glock 17, a very popular gun with law
enforcement agencies and the military.
Clip Size: 12
Power: 7/10
Rate of Fire: Clip of 12 in 3.6 seconds = 200 rounds per minute.
Reload Time: 2.2 seconds
Supressor: Yes
Use: Same as the DC3, short to medium ranges. Swap it early for a better gun.
Another basic handgun, favourable since it can be equipped with a supressor.
It has a slightly faster fire rate than the DC3. However you will find you
seem to get through your rounds faster than with the DC3, but it's your choice.

Magnum
The in-game Magnum is based on the Colt Python .357 Magnum and the Smith &
Wesson .500 Magnum.
Clip Size: 6
Power: 9/10
Rate of Fire: Clip of 6 in 9.2 seconds = 39 rounds per minute.
Reload Time: 4.3 seconds
Supressor: No
Use: Against armoured enemies at medium ranges. Not too good because ammo
is rare. Basically just a fun gun.
Well well... Can't say much here, apart from the fact that is the sickest
gun in the game (sorry, my humble opinion). One shot kills on everyone. Just
that the ammo is a bit scarce and if you miss your target you have to wait
for the gun to be cocked again, and that takes a bit of time.

Sub Machine Guns (WeSMG)

Mac10 Elite
The Mac10 is a compact machine pistol developed by Gordon Ingram in 1964.
It is built almost entirely from steel stampings. The reason it became so
recognised is because of its revolutionary supressor, which was about as
long as the gun itself.
Clip Size: 70
Power: 5/10
Rate of Fire: Clip of 70 in 5.7 seconds
Reload Time: 3.4 seconds
Supressor: Yes
Use: With a supressor at short ranges. Any further than that and it is
pretty much useless.
Used by the shielded terrorists, they are quite potent at close ranges but
are pathetic at medium ranges. Not really recommended as it wastes a valuable
slot with a gun that really isn't anything much.

Uzi
The Uzi is an Israeli-designed sub-machine gun and has proved highly effective
for elite troops who need a compact, fast-firing gun to clear bunkers and other
compact spaces.
Clip Size: 90
Power: 7/10
Rate of Fire: 90 rounds in 3.6 seconds = 1500 rounds per minute
Reload Time: 2 seconds
Supressor: Yes
Use: Against multiple enemies in an enclosed area at short ranges. Awesome
killing power.
The classic Uzi. Outrageous fire rate to cream anyone within about 30 degrees
of where you're aiming. No, seriously, it's just fun to use and quite good with
a supressor.

P90
The P90 is a Belgian-designed sub-machine gun. It is a selective fire weapon
and fires from a closed bolt. It is fully ambidextrous, and so left handed
people can use it as well.
Clip Size: 100
Power: 8/10
Rate of Fire: Clip of 100 in 4.2 seconds = 1429 rounds per minute.
Reload Time: 4.2 seconds
Supressor: No
Use: Against multiple enemies in an enclosed area at short ranges. Better than
the Uzi, but rarer.
A massive clip is the only way to justify the huge fire rate. This is a real
crowd clearer. The slightly ironic thing about this gun is that it takes
just as long to empty the clip as it does to put in a new one. Don't even
bother aiming this baby, as 90 of those rounds won't go where you want them.
Just point in general direction and yank that trigger. Uses both SMG and
assault rifle ammo, so you shouldn't be in any shortage of ammo, even with
that insane fire rate.

MP5
The Heckler & Koch MP5 (short for Maschinenpistole 5) has been in service for
more than 40 years in many law enforcement agencies, as well as the military
and SWAT teams. There are currently over 30 variants of this weapon.

Rate of Fire: Clip of 80 in 6.5 seconds = 738 rounds per minute
Reload Time: 4.1 seconds
Supressor: Yes
Use: Against normal terrorists at medium ranges with a supressor.
The MP5 is the most respected SMG in the world, and is widely used by SWAT
teams, the police and the army, and there's a reason for it. The MP5 has the
power of an assault rifle with the size and maneouverability of a sub-machine
gun. Good power and accuracy but an annoying scraping sound every time you
shoot. Unfortunately you hardly ever get to use this gun and it is a shame
as it is such a great gun. Get it if you can.

AK47
The Kalashnikov 1947 assault rifle was one of the world's first assault rifles
and, due to its durability and ease of use, remains the most widely used
assault rifle in the world. More AK-type rifles have been produced than any
other assault rifle.

Power: 8/10
Rate of Fire: Clip of 60 in 4.6 seconds = 783 rounds per minute
Reload Time: 2.8 seconds
Supressor: Yes
Use: Against pretty much anyone, at short to medium-long ranges. A base gun,
very useful. Good with a supressor.
The most popular assault rifle in the world, and for a reason. They are very
powerful and very reliable, and have a good fire rate. A brilliant gun and
should be your weapon of choice for assault rifles.

M16
The Colt M16 is the standard military issue rifle for infantry in the USA.
It entered service in 1964 and is still widely used. It is currently in use
with 15 NATO countries.
Clip Size: 95
Power: 8/10
Rate of Fire: Clip of 95 in 7.8 seconds = 731 rounds per minute.
Reload Time: 4.3 seconds
Supressor: Yes
Use: Against almost anyone at medium ranges. Great with a supressor.
A solid and powerful rifle with an (unrealistically) huge clip. Combined
with a fire rate that tops the G36, it is quicker to take down a bunch
of terrorists, which is, at the end of the day, what these guns are measured
on. Gets even better when you add the M203 onto the bottom after you complete
the game on Black Ops.

G36C
The compact variant of the Heckler & Koch G36 has Picatinny rails, a common
rail design to attach scopes and other tactical accessories. It has a free-
floating barrel, where the barrel does not come in contact with the handguard.
It is widely used by many special forces, including the German forces and the
United Kingdom Special Forces.

Rate of Fire: Clip of 70 in 5.8 seconds = 724 rounds per minute
Reload Time: 3.1 seconds

Use: Against almost anyone at medium ranges. Powerful and reliable.
A great gun, reliable and powerful with a huge clip and great fire rate. Can
be used with a supressor as well so good stealth capabilities. Strangely
enough, the real life G36 looks almost nothing like Black's construction of
it. Meh, I think Black's G36 looks cooler anyway.

Shotguns (WeSh)

Remington 870
The Remington Model 870 is a pump-action combat shotgun commonly used with
12 gauge cartridges. It holds the record for the best selling pump-action
shotgun in US history.

Rate of Fire: Clip of 8 in 11.9 seconds = 40 rounds per minute
Reload Time (from empty): 6.4 seconds
Supressor: No
Use: Blast down enemy shotgunners and doors. Also against multiple enemies
in an enclosed area at short range.
The Remington 870 is a very powerful gun at close ranges, however at distances
over 30 metres, it is pretty much useless. Use to take out enemy shotgunners
and blast down doors and foes at close ranges.

S.P.A.S. 12
The Franchi S.P.A.S. 12 is a combat shotgun using a 12-gauge cartridge. It is
an automatic pump-action gun. S.P.A.S. officially stands for Sporting Purpose
Automatic Shotgun, but many believe it stands for Special Purpose Assault
Shotgun.
Clip Size: 6
Power: 8/10
Rate of Fire: Clip of 6 in 6.8 seconds = 53 rounds per minute
Reload Time (from empty): 4.8 seconds
Supressor: No
Use: Blow away doors and body-armoured enemies, and guys in an enclosed area
at short range.
An awesome-looking Italian shotgun. Clip is smaller than the Remington, but
the S.P.A.S has a higher fire rate, making it easier to blow away guys than
ever before. It also reloads faster than the Remington, but has the same
effective range. I would recommend this over the Remington.

Machine Guns (WeMG)

M249 SAW
The M249 SAW is a US Military light-machine gun which uses a 5.56x45mm round.
It is a fully automatic-only firearm which fires from an open-bolt position.
It can take rounds either from a belt-fed system, or M16-type magazines through
the side-mounted port.
Clip Size: 150
Power: 9/10
Rate of Fire: Clip of 150 in 18.1 seconds = 497 rounds per minute
Reload Time: 5 seconds
Supressor: No
Use: Against almost anyone at medium ranges. Ammo is sometimes scarce but you
don't really get through it quickly.
It's called the BFG for a reason. It looks outrageously big when you hold it,
and usually ventilates the guy on the business end pretty well. The clip seems
endless with 150 rounds and 'only' 500 rounds per minute. The M249 SAW (Squad
Automatic Weapon) is supposed to be a 'light' machine gun, but in this game,
it looks anything but. Great to spray around, and better if you hit something
in the process.

Rifles (WeRif)

Walther 2000 Sniper Rifle
The Walther WA 2000 'bullpup' sniper rifle is a specialised police rifle which
uses a standard NATO 7.62x51mm round. It is an incredibly rare gun, since only
176 rifles were ever produced.

Power: 10/10
Rate of Fire: Clip of 5 in 8.7 seconds
Reload Time: 3 seconds
Supressor: No
Use: Against anyone at medium to long ranges. Incredibly powerful and useful,
so take it if you see it.
The Walther 2000 is a massively powerful sniper rifle, taking down anyone in
one shot. It is very useful for taking out RPGs that annoy you, and anyone up
to a kilometre away (says the loading screen intel). Headshots look especially
cool. If you see it somewhere, chances are you will need it, so take it.

Grenade Launchers (WeGL)

The Rocket-Propelled Grenade is a shoulder-launched anti-tank weapon developed
in the Soviet Union. It is very popular among insurgents as it is easy to get
hold of and very cheap, as well as being very powerful.

Power: 10/10
Rate of Fire: n/a
Reload Time: 2.8 seconds
Supressor: n/a
Use: Against bunkers and enemy RPGs. Just to cause huge destruction.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Fires a whopping great grenade and turns
the target to terrorist dust. Use generally to cause havoc.

M203
The M203 is a single-shot stand-alone grenade launcher that can attach to the
M16. It fires 40mm grenades and is effective up to 150 metres, although it
can fire up to 400 metres.

Power: 10/10
Rate of Fire: n/a
Reload Time: 3.7 seconds
Supressor: n/a
Use: To destroy targets at medium to long ranges, and to destroy bunkers and
armoured enemies.
A stand-alone grenade launcher that can be attached to the M16 once you
complete the game on Black Ops difficulty. (Good luck!) The grenade is a bit
loopy and unpredictable at first, but the blast makes up for that. After
all, a grenade launcher is not a sniper, it wasn't designed for aiming, was
it? If it was, they would put a scope on it, and that... well.. just doesn't
work.
