Can you build a two story home in sims freeplay?

The only house I haven't bought is the Mansion and all others are one floor. It looks like the Mansion is one floor to though...

This confuses me as one objective hints that eventually your Sims gain the ability to add additional floors

You can but you have to be on a higher level or a goal will tell you how

You can't buy stairs.But I think that if you buy the mansion it might have two floors or even more

It hints in an objective that you will be able to soon, maybe the update after the living large update will make you be able to build a second story????

No,the mansion only has 1 floor.No,it is not coming in the Sims new update living large.And,No,you cannot build a 2nd story in the sims free-play.

Yes you can in the new update for may 2013. Hope this helped a lot and the mansion has one floor I saw it on my friends iPod. The new thing is that you can customize your stairs like the pool.

Yes you can get a second Floor on the new update for may 2013 .......it will probably cost lots but....it's worth it

I've got a 2 story house but it's really complicated

There is a new update and you can get a two storie house

You can add stairs to a house you already have, you have to click floor construction in the house department and add a second floor, then you can add the stairs

Yes you can build an upstairs but first you must complete the Quest after you update the game then on the top left side you will see a house click it and it will tell you what to do then when you finish all of the Quests you can build an upstairs

I was having trouble too but I gigured it out. You must have a SPORTS CENTER. After the update it will give a construction goal. It will tell you to go to the center and it will now have a second floor. Click the staircase and once youre up there you have to work on a building table. Just a quick practice. After that goal, you will have to let the doll that you made run out the window. And the goal after that will tell you to go home and click on the furniture store tab and itll give you the option to build a second story. And TAAAAADAAAAAA*** hope I helped

You can place a two story house you have to go to a house, go to the buying menu and go to home then you can see the layers button tap on that and it should tell you how to do it from there. Hope this helps! :-)

This is how to add a second floor. You go to the furniture/home store at the house you want to have 2 or 3 floors, now flip to the house editing mode and click the second option, now skimpily tap the roof and a second floor should appear, please note that to reach the second floor you must have stairs

With this month's update you can build a second and third story.

You need to be on level 10 or higher to get the second story. If you go to the section where you can change features of your house you need to build a second level then you have to buy stairs. I found it quite self explanatory

Following this, is anybody else having difficulty placing the stairs? I have completed all of the Goals and have added a second floor, then built a room on the second floor and now I am up to placing the staircase. I have destroyed a room downstairs trying to make room for the stairs, but no matter what I do, they are never in a suitable enough spot for the game to allow me to place them. Any suggestions? =)

You can build it if you have updated it but frst you have to complete some Goals

Update Sims freeplay then you will have tasks to do as well as Goals. Complete the first 4 and you will have unlocked stairs, to pay for these they cost anything from

But before you place your stairs you must extend upstairs and this costs 220cc, to earn these 'cc' is very easy build a community centre and use the wood bench to build stuff and earn more 'cc' depending on how long you do it for and what your finished product is

Yes you can you need 220 cc and you click floor construction to build a second floor

To build the staircase, make sure there is a room above the staircase you intended to build. Hope I help!

I have a 3 stray house the it's actually really easy and ta make the tick appear you must have made a room on the second level first

Like the other person said you need the comunity center. But if you want to get an Elavater you must follow al the Goals and then you will get there

So what you have to do is collect 15000 Simoleons and then build the community centre in the top left of the map. Then go upstairs by pressing the icon in the top right corner. Then get a sim to practice in the woodshop (it only takes 4 mins). Then slowly get more constructs coins by collecting rent and practicing in the workshop. You must collect 220 of these coins. Then go to your chosen house and go onto the house button, then you need to press, house, then go into the first or second button and renovate your home. Don't worry it costs money not construction coins to build rooms upstairs. Also. It costs 10-170 construction coins to build a staircase. Hope this helps.

Click on it and to build the 2 nd floor. (you need 220 cc? I'm not sure but get a lot) and THEN add stairs. If you want a better explantation, ask me. Hope I helped~ ^.^

Yes you can!! It is in the new update which has stairs on the icon, you have tasks to complete which can be located underneath the sim selector. However there is a limited time to complete all of the tasks (I think it is 15 days). In the old sports centre there is an upstairs work shop which is a new hobbie for the Sims, once you complete making an item you are rewarded with construct-0-coins (something along the lines of that). This is the currency used to add the second floor and to buy fire poles, escalators and stairs.

Yes you can but for you be able to purchase the second story, you need to finish a Quest & earn cc points. With cc points you'll be able to buy staircases and whatnot too

If you get the 2013 update you can but I don't know how.

I am lvl 13 and I can actually add another floor. It cost 1 million simulins and you also need stairs to have access to the newly made floor.

First,build the second floor. Next,add in the stairs. There you go! A second floor to your Sims home!

You can add a second floor. It costs quite a lot. I can only have a second floor on my ipad

Yes, you can. You have to finish the multi-stories renovation Quest around level 21/22

I'm confused cause I want my sim to play the getar and I can't find one in my nahbors homes

You have to go through a certain amount of Goals. One of the goals is to create multi-level sim homes. Once you complete this goal which is available at level 17 if you have them all done, you can create multiple levels. It costs quite a bit of money however.
