Black Mage Ominas Crowe |
HP: 1800, Weakness: None, FAM: Human |

You should have a Monk and White Mage in your party. The white mage should have Cure learned and your monk should have a good weapon equipped as he/she will be your main attacker. The Mage Masher dagger you acquired earlier is a good weapon to use here since it has the chance to inflict Silence. If your level is high enough at this point, you shouldn’t worry about Crowe’s multi-target black magic since you can heal it off with Cure. This boss can also inflict Silence and Sleep. If your white mage has the LV5 Freelancer skill Mislead, you can use this to avoid getting targeted by the boss. Otherwise, you have to resort in using Wakeup Bells or Echo Herbs to wake up your allies or cure their silence. Take note that you don't need to cure the silence of your party members who will be attacking without using any skills. |
After the battle, you’ll obtain the Black Mage Asterisk. After the scene, Edea will join the party. New party chats will become available, depending on the progress of Norende's restoration. (Talk of Titles, Norende’s New Beginning, Norende’s Draw, Operation: Norende Rises, Norende’s Population) Leave the keep for another scene.
World Map
After the scene, you can view another set of party chats depending on how much Norende is restored. (Delegating Work in Norende, A Gift from Norende, Norende’s Special Moves, Norende’s Special Moves Parts, Norende Nears Completion) Head back to the castle afterward.
Once you’re back in the city, head to the castle immediately. After the scene, a party chat will be available (Edea’s Misunderstanding) Leave the castle for another scene. Edea will be the only one in the party for now. Head to the graveyard to the west to continue to the story. Watch the following scenes and you’ll spend in the night in the inn. The party will regroup and you’re off to Lontano Villa. Before leaving, change one of your character's job to a Black Mage and purchase some black magic scrolls, especially Thunder. Leave the city afterward.
Centro Keep
As soon as you’re in the world map, you’ll get a brief tutorial about Special Moves. You’ll be thrown in a mock battle for you to get a chance to practice using a special move. You can also rename a Special Move, dialogue and effect in the "Special“ menu. As you rebuild Norende, you’ll have access to more special moves and "Parts“ which can provide additional effects to your moves.
After the tutorial, a party chat will be available (A Father’s Care). Head to Centro Keep and examine the door to the north. Edea will open it and allow your party to go through. After the dialogue, a party chat will be available. (But You're a Traitor) Exit to the world map. You'll find the villa in the mountains to the north. It's very obvious so you won't miss it.
