You can't find him because he can't be found any where on Pokemon Emerald. You need to trade him from Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green. If you have a gameshark you can use it too, heres the cheat:

Well your best bet and only way is to get a charmander from a fire red or leaf green game.and you can get squirtle and bulbasaur but first you must bet the elites and get the sapphire and ruby plates on fire red and leaf green.

You have to trade Pokemon with Pokemon fire red and leaf green , and if that doesnt work then you have to trade Pokemon fire red and leaf green , with Pokemon ruby and sapphire , then with Pokemon emerald. Hope I helped .^_^

The best possible way is to trade it from Fire Red or Leaf Green. Only if you have a GBA and not a DS. Do not use a gameshark or an action replay because they can wreck your game. I used one once and it totally messed up my game.

Charizard can only be found in Fire Red or Leafgreen because you shouldn't use gameshark since the Pokemon tend to be weaker opposed to when you train them so you should get a Firered or Leafgreen and trade with them as soon as they are able to and train them with Blast Burn, Aerial Ace, Earthqauke and Flamethrower.

1. The only way to get charmander or it's evolutions is to trade from FR/LG. 2. You use an AR or Gameshark to get them.

after you have been to the battle frontier go back to west of the the trick mans house and into the cave keep walking around , you will cum across zubat pinaco smeargle and tediursa butt if u use a repel u will eventualy come across charmander at level 25 trust me it works and u dnt need gameshark or action replay glad i could help

You can just trade or go into some kind of cave and talk to a man and it's true or trade an egg.

I forgot how to get there but you can on emerald

For new people who look at this there is a like 25% chanceof catching Charizard in Emerald at Sky Pillar it took me like 20 to 40 minutes to find one. As you can tell they are extremely rare. Trade and event only

Charmander/charmeleon/charizard can be obtained by trading a charmander to Emerald from firered or leafgreen

You only able to own them by trading from Pokémon FireRed to Pokémon Emerald. You can't search them on Pokémon Emerald because of region difference ( FireRed is Kanto, Emerald is Hoenn) To get it, you need to play Pokémon FireRed and choose the starter, Charmander

There is no way of getting charmander on Pokemon emerald. You need to play the entire game of Pokemon FireRed or LeafGreen, then after getting the ruby and sapphire in those games, you will be able to trade charmander for your emerald copy. Also you will need to choose charmander to breed it when you get to the post game.
