You have two weapon slots in Code Vein, one ideally for your preferred damage-dealing weapon. A good choice for your second weapon slot is a bayonet as it has a strong attack and is a ranged Ichor (magic) projectile which makes it effective for clearing enemies from a distance that are waiting to ambush you.

In Code Vein you are able to swap between two weapons. None of the enemies you encounter in the game are weaker to specific weapons so experiment with the different weapons available and pick the ones you like.
