After delivering the toxin sample from Grapp Keep and before going to the Mithril Mines, you can talk to Commander Goodman again in Eisen Bridge. Select the third option to trigger this sub-scenario. You won’t be able to break through for the first time.
Go back to your ship and sail to Grandship. Head to the tavern and the Proprietress will tell you about the siren song and the bard that overpowered it. While inside the tavern, talk to the old men dining on the table. Next , leave Grandship and travel back to Ancheim.
Once in there, find the man in front of the giant clock. You’ll learn about the other students that you need to talk to and where the next one is found. Get back to your ship and sail to Caldisla this time.
In Caldisla, head west and talk to the woman standing along the street, southeast of the Magics shop. After talking to her, set out to Florem. Once there, head to the Plaza and talk to the man there.
Next, head to Hartschild. Talk to the NPC standing by the fountain. After the conversation, you have to head back to the tavern in Grandship again. You’ll get the bard’s baton from her.
Head back to Eisen Bridge and talk again to Commander Goodman to make another attempt in breaking through the enemy forces lead by Praline. You’ll have to defeat her in battle afterward.
Boss: Praline a la Mode |
HP: 40,000 Weakness: None, FAM: Human |
Black Blade |
HP: 2,800 Weakness: Lightning, FAM: Human |
Black Axefighter |
HP: 3,000 Weakness: Lightning, FAM: Human |
|
The Black Blade can inflict Confusion to your characters while the Black Axefighter can lower your character’s defenses. Praline will buff them using Love Power and even allow them to gain extra moves by using One More for You. Killing both guards will prompt Praline to summon them both at the same time. Between the two minions, the Black Blade is more annoying so kill him and leave the Axefighter. If you have Dispel, you can remove the buffs Praline has casted and make her waste turns by casting them again. |
After the battle, you’ll receive a Stardust, Battle Corslet and of course, the Performer asterisk.
