Crafting Weapons Guide

Where do you Craft Weapons

You will be able to craft weapons using the Forge in Fort Tarsis. The Forge can be found next to the podium where you get your Javelin suit and go on expeditions. Once you are inside the Forge select 'Weapons' followed by 'Primary' or 'Backup' weapons. If you then choose the 'Crafting' tab you will display all the weapons that you can craft.

How do you Craft Weapons

Before visiting the Forge you need to make sure you have all the necesary materials in order to craft the weapon. Not having all the the materials or the required amount will mean you will not be able to craft the weapon. The materials need will likely include:

• Blueprints

• Chimeric Alloy

• Chimeric Compound

• Weapon Parts

• Embers

In order to get specific Blueprints you will need to complete the challenges that are tied to that weapon. You can check and keep track of your progress in those challenges by viewing them in your Cortex. Chimeric Alloys and Compounds are a necessity for you to craft almost anything in the game and can be found by harvesting resources such as rocks and plants. Weapon parts are usually found in containers while exploring or by salvaging unwanted weapons. To craft a weapon of a certain rarity will require embers that correspond with that specific rarity. Embers are usually randomly dropped loot when exploring and may also be found by salvaging weapons. As long as you have the required amount of materials you will be able to craft weapons as many times as you want. Recrafting weapons can give you the same weapon, but with better consumables than what you already have.

Why Craft Weapons

It is important that you arm yourself with the best gear possible so you give yourself the chance possible in combat and surviving expeditions. Crafting weapons will also ensure you that you get the weapon you are looking for instead of random loot.
