If you go holy with dante the jus hold O as suoon as you see him to attack let go of O and keep doing that through the fight. till the third phase jus burn him out of his health

Unlock Infernal Mode

This super-hard almost impossible difficulty setting will become an available option when you have beaten the game.

Redemption Mode

Beat the game once to be given the option to retain your stats and relics in a second playthrough. This feature is similar to New Game+.

Unlock Artwork

Complete an area of Hell to unlock a piece of artwork and when the game has been completed ALL the artwork will become unlocked.

Unlock Auto Absolve Ability

Collecting ALL 3 Beatrice Stones will enable you to skip the Absolve mini-game when you find a damned denizen of Hell. You will though lose the chance to collect extra souls if you skip the mini-game.

Unlock 'Making the Baby' Video

This feature becomes available when you have beaten the game on any difficulty setting.

Unlockables

Unlock Gates of Hell Survival Mode:

Complete the game to unlock this setting where you're pitted against waves of enemies and have to kill them ALL before time runs out.

Unlock New Game+ (Resurrection Mode):

Complete the game to be able to start another session in Resurrection mode where you retain ALL previously collected souls, skills and relics.

Unlock Dante's Crusader Costume:

Complete the game and start a new session in Resurrection mode and you'll be prompted to choose the costume before the game begins.

How do I know who to punish & who to absolve? Or is it up to me?

Its up to you really... If your a history buff you can try it that way but punish all or redeem all sometimes because of your choice you will get relics but mostly just souls

I just started the game and I have Death at the door I preform my fist finish move (R) and when Death is impaled and ..

you will have to start over you have to save out befor you enter the room if you pull the lever and then save, the lever will be backwards the trophies you unlocked will still be unlock, i had that same problem.
