Dream Suite

This is a establishment found in Main Street and operated by the Tapir named Luna. This will be suggested by Isabelle as a Public Works project after you see her sleeping in the Town Hall. It will cost 234,000 bells to build. Using the establishment also requires a working internet connection. Here you can visit the towns of other players or upload your own town in the Dream World.

Dream World

To upload the dream version of your town, you have to sit on a couch inside the Suite and answer a series of questions. After creating your dream world, other players will be able to visit your town. You can also update the dream world version of your town once a day to save any new changes made in your current town.

Updating will also reveal how many times the town was visited of other players. You’ll even get a 5,000 bell reward for updating your town daily! Be warned though that if the dream world is not updated in a while, it will be deleted from the Nintendo servers. If your town data is deleted, you can re-upload your dream town again but your dream address will change as well.

After uploading your town, you’ll be given a 12-digit Dream Address which you can give to other players so they can access your dream town easily and directly. This number is also shared in your TPC so other online players will be able to see it. Should you wish to keep this private, talk to Luna again and select “Dream Address”.

There are limitations when visiting a dream world version of a town. First, the shops are closed and any changes/damages you dealt with the town are not permanent. Since this is also a dream, you can’t take anything with you and you can only leave the town through the bed near the Town Tree.

Dream Walking

This service allows you to visit another player’s town at a cost of 500 bells. Only players that allowed their town to be shared can be visited and this doesn’t require the owner of the town to be online since you’ll be accessing the uploaded version in the Nintendo servers. This is also different from being invited by another player since you won’t see their avatars during your visit.

Luna will ask you what dream you want to have. You have three choices to select to visit a town:

• “I’ll leave it up to you” – Visit randomly-selected town

• Input Dream Address – If you have a code from another player, enter it through this option

• “I’ll search for one” – Manually search a town by Town Name, Player Name or Region.

While in the dream world, you may encounter Wendell. Talking to him will allow you to obtain patterns/designs created by the owner of the dream town you’re visiting.
