Added:

With the number of characters you’re able to recruit in Fire Emblem Engage, there will be a lot of choices available whenever you are using different classes. Some of the characters that you meet throughout the chapters however, are important to the game’s story. Aside from playing the main character, you get to encounter different Royals in the game, as well as their retainers. The Royals, and some specific characters you’ll find can come with their own unique classes. In this page, we’ll be providing you with an Exclusive and Special Classes guide so you will know their weapons as well as skills.

Fire Emblem Engage is a latest installation for the critically-acclaimed Fire Emblem series, offering a fresh approach to the tried-and tested tactical, turn-based JRPG formula fans have seen in recent years. Players are treated with the return of the Triangle System, weapons with no durability, and of course, the fresh new Emblem/Bond Ring mechanic.

Overview

When starting the game out in Fire Emblem Engage, you will be constantly reminded that your character is the Divine One. Just as your character fights their first battle, you will find out that they have the Dragon Child class. Progressing the game’s story will then let you meet characters such as other royals from different Kingdoms, they get to have their own unique classes as well.

However, there’s other characters you will also meet that have their own classes, plus there’s a special class that will be available for your other classes to turn into. One of the unique things about exclusive and special classes is that they have their own skills that make them different. For example, Alcryst is a character that starts out as a Lord with a Bow weapon, and he can turn into a Tireur d’elite class which has an S-level Proficiency with a Bow. This is the same as the Archer and Sniper classes, however Alcryst gets his own unique skill which is “Luna” instead of “No Distractions” from the Sniper class.

Exclusive and Special Classes list and requirements

The list we have compiled below shows the different exclusive and special classes that are available in Fire Emblem Engage. You will notice that only the Thief class is the one that isn’t exclusive to any character, they are special classes however since they do not have base or advanced forms.

The rest of the classes below aside from thief have exclusive users shown with their name, so please use this as your guide to learn more about the overview of the classes that you can Promote them into.

Spoiler Warning: If you wish to avoid any spoilers from the game’s story, it would be best for you to avoid viewing the bottom of this list.

Even though the characters listed above have their own set of skills, you are still free to change them to other types of Advanced Classes. You might want to take each classes’ Weapon Proficiency as well into account if you are aiming for them to wield S level weapons.

Similar to regular Base classes, it would be best for you to change class immediately to your advanced exclusive class once you have the required level. Level 1 Advanced classes have an internal level of 21, so it would be a waste for you to level up your Base to 20. You can use your Master Seal straight away in order to start leveling up.
