Players attempt to take control over the streets of Gotham by roaming through levels murdering with their super-villains trademark moves anyone they come across until they have acquired the arbitary number of respect to be allowed to progress forward to the next level. Your overall gameplay will basically consist of hiring henchmen and pimping out your criminal hideout to earn respect. There are other super-villains who are willing to help but for them to do so means you doing something for them first. Each one of these super-villains have a mission you must complete by meeting a certain criteria before they help your gang.
