Unlike in the original Angry Birds which used a slingshot, the birds dash through an area in a top down perspective ricocheting like pinballs off bumpers and obstacles in their way. The object of the game is to try and cause as much damage as possible while at the same time collecting items. In each of the levels there are hazards you have to deal with such as TNT crates, rocks, blocks of ice or strong winds. Each of the Angry Bird has a different special ability and you only have a limited number of birds to use for completing each level. You fling your bird by dragging your finger behind them, aiming in the direction you want them to take and then releasing. A line will appear on screen showing you exactly what your bird's trajectory is going to be and if they are going to ricochet through a different route. The game uses an energy system which once used up either makes the player wait to continue playing or use in-game currency to continue playing.
