Though Motion Controls can be turned off at any given time in Arms, a player should always give them a shot before rely solely upon their button-mashing skills. Sure, the motion detectors from the predecessor of the Nintendo Switch (Nintendo Wii) weren't that great, but a player might actually find it easier for a game like {i]Arms[/i].
With Motion Controls, a player doesn't need to actually throw enormous punches in real life. Instead, all one must do is make subtle gestures to expertly throw strikes, spin attacks, shift, dodge, and even fight while in midair. By mastering these inputs with the motion of your hands, a player can worry about bigger things happening on the battlefield.
