Hidden Secrets DLC

The Hidden Secrets Expansion Pack DLC is available free to gamers who hold a Season Pass for AC3; for gamers who do not hold a Season Pass, this expansion will require payment of additional funds in order to download and add it to their game.

This optional expansion pack includes the following content:

• The Dangerous Secret Mission

• The Ghost of War Mission

• The Lost Mayan Ruins Mission

Successful completion of each of these three optional missions unlocks a new weapon in the game, for use by the player, and for display in the hidden Assassin's Lair at the Homestead Manor House.

In addition to these three missions, the expansion pack includes:

• Captain of the Aquila Uniform

• Colonial Assassin Uniform

These two uniforms can be worn by the player, and also are displayed as part of the dedicated uniform display rack in the hidden Assassin's Lair at the Homestead Manor House. This expansion also includes two new multi-player characters:

• The Redcoat

• The Sharpshooter

Assassin's Creed III Season Pass owners may download and install The Hidden Secrets Pack for free; after December 11, 2012 gamers who do not own the Season Pass may download and install the pack on the Xbox 360 version of the game for 400 Microsoft points, and on PC and PS3 for $4.99 US / £3.99 UK.

WARNING: A bug has been discovered in the game that can corrupt your game save if you attempt to download and install ANY of the DLC products while you are actually playing the game. Gamers report that downloading the DLC while they played the game resulted in the system automatically installing the DLC, which caused their game save to be corrupted. It is therefore advisable that the download and installation of any and all DLC be completed BEFORE you load and play your game. Installation of the DLC while the game is not loaded does not result in negative consequences.
