There are several tours players can take which will allow them to collect medals. These medals can be exchanged for various island-exclusive items by talking to Granny. At first, players can only choose one-star challenges. Stars determine the difficulty of the challenge. Higher difficulty challenges are worth more medals. You can unlock higher difficulty challenges by completing the lower ones. After unlocking all challenges, Leilani will only offer 12 random challenges of varying difficulties that change every day. Each tour has a ranking system. If you exceed the minimum score required, you’ll be given more medals.
You have to find four villagers hiding in the island. They will not hide in beaches or inside the houses. If you’re doing this in multiplayer, your time limit will be reduced by a minute for every player that joins. To save time, players must thoroughly search their respective areas since overlooking one villager will waste a lot of precious time.
