How do I get a togetic...?

Make togepi like you.

Ok. I reckon you have Togepi (seen as how you have no choice but to accept the egg). If you don't have it, then go to Violet City and go into the local Pokemon center. Of course, if you paid attention to Prof. Oak, you'd already know that. Talk to the scientist and he'll give you the egg. Of course, you probably already have it. You might not of hatched it. Well, you want to hatch it if you want a Togetic. Ok, once it's hatched (even though you most likely already did all this), train it. It may take a while, it may not take a while. Train Togepi all you can, and try not to let it faint. Give it lots of items, such as hp up, pp up, protein, iron, carbos, etc. Also try having it hold berries so that in battle it'll heal itself. Also, Pokemon like berries, so if you let it use berries, it'll like you. Eventually, your Togepi will like you so much that it'll evolve for you. And, what other Pokemon to evolve into... Than Togetic! Viola! You have it now! (All in all, you evolve Togepi by friendship and it evolves into Togetic.)
