How do I get Mew in Firered now?

The Mew glitch does not function in Fire Red and Leaf Green.

There are now only two possible ways to obtain Mew:

1. Trade from someone who has one.

2. Use a cheating device to automatically encounter Mew or hack him into your party/box.

Mew, unfortunately, does not exist in the FireRed and LeafGreen, I was also quite sad when I tried the nugget bridge glitch and no luck:(

Sorry dude no way to get Mew :( I used to love Mew also, until Pokemon black and white came out and I got hooked on victini. But get Pokemon red blue or yellow nugget bridge works on there!!

To get Mew you must eat 5 lbs. Of naked mole rat seasoning. It will taste very good and then a Mew will randomly pop up in front of you.

1.go to Lavender Town walk to the man (on the left) of the underground path then if the man going to fight you start! Then Fly to Cerulean City.

2.fight with the youngster with has a slowpoke lvl 18 then Fly to Lavender Town then the last step to go to the route then stand there don't go to the route just start then start then a Mew will apear!!

Okay my dad's friend told me this. You have to beat the elite 4 and then a person will appear on one the routes (random) and you have to him and I think Mew will appear or something. I havent done it though so tell me if it works

You could only do that years ago, where you got a Mystery Gift Item from a Nintendo event. You will reach an island (somehow, but this is 100% true!)
And find Mew there.

Only by an event that ended a long time ago with a bunch of tickets.oh plus you can use a gameshark,but that loses the fun

The cheats don't work. If you obtain a Mew through cheats, Mew WILL NOT obey you. The sad reality is that you can't catch a Mew in Fire red. =/

Beat all other gym leaders until you can use Surf outside of battle. Fly back to Vermilion City and use surf off the side of the little pathway that leads to the ship. Surf around the rocks on the left side. You should come to a island it should have Mew on it. It is the same island you unlock with the ticket that you can no longer get. I have not tried this yet. I am looking for the code, but I have seen it work on another fire red system.

U can get Mew through game shark codes but it wont obey you the only way it's going to obey you is when you give it to day care n leave it there until you defeat the Pokemon league

Stuff stuff NOT POSSIBLE (unless) you beat the Pokemon league not 12 BUT 15 times then you have to go to Mewtwo but Mew there but if you use a escape rope you will reappear in a dark cave (use Flash!) you will see a jag-id path but once you get to the end you will see Mew he will be there and you can fight him once you fainted/caught him (most likely caught ) you will be teleported were you are first at the beginning and once you go down gary,you mom,and all gym leaders and professer oak will be there and if you talk to them they will say congratulations! Once you go out the door it's just your normal Pokemon game again (hope it worked!)

U can use game shark to get naval island ticket (like nintendo event) and go catch new then it will obey.

Before the S.S. Anne, Trade with a friend a Pokemon that has Cut. Go through the game without going on the S.S. Anne. When you get Surf and Strength go back to the ship before you go in it, go left with surf and use strength to push the truck. Mew is behind it lv. 30.

Someway you need to go to Birth Island and use a cheat device to instantly find a Mew , catch him there and he will obey you.

Most of your answers are right. Mew is under the truck in vermilion'S.S. Anne. I know because I found and caught it with 10 ultraballs and lv 30 at half health! I tried the Mew glitch at cerulean and it does work as well, but the glitch was extremely hard to carry out and it took me 5 days. Putting in the cheat code to make it randomly appear works, but then Mew wouldn't obey you. So there is a glitch tht lets you catch an obeying Mew, but I did it a more original way. I put in a code for the ticket to faraway island, dma code so not to crash the game, a code to make sure the sailor who is in front of the ss anne at vermilion notices the ticket, and after all that, I arrived on faraway island. I caught Mew again, and it listened to me as well! So this is the more original way. But if you don't want to do all that, then try a code that automatically lets you warp to the island as soon as you go into a door or something. You can always get back regular by going through the ship too.

Or you could join Team Rocket. Seriously, look it up.

You can breed Mewtwo with ditto. The egg will then hatch inside it is a Mew

I have heard that if you get the M E W unknowns and go to the biggest unknown temple, Mew will appear

Use the walk through walls cheat code and go to bills house. The teleporter device is where you will go on. Enter the same way Pokemon Bill did and when you get to the other sode via walking , go down and it will take you to a tree and Mew will be right there at level seven. Good luck

If you have Emerald use faraway island warp code then for firered beat the game and fix the machine which enables you to Trade from Hoen region GBA Pokemon games and if you have 2 GBAs link to them and trade your new over to firered

You have to Trade from other generations or people, or use a cheating device, like ActionReplay and Gameshark codes.

People, it is possible to leave the SS Anne and it will still be there, get Cut and have a trainer knock you out, the boat should stay there because the animation of it leaving is gone so it would never have left, beat the game and go back and use Surf, you should find the japan only island that required a japan only item, since the SS Anne was still there it glitches the game and the island with Mew should be there

You can't catch Mew without an event or glitches. You'll just have to live with an incomplete Pokedex. Or you could buy a gameshark, it's essentially another gba cartridge, an unofficial accessory, that has a slot for the game aswell. You put in the gameshark and then the game goes in the slot built into this accessory. Just turn it on like you would do for a normal game but it'll give you a homescreen with a bunch of names of games. Select your game, and if there are other numbers and letters or names, don't touch em, go to the bottom where it says add new cheat and press b button now just search up the Mew encounter code and type that in. Or just search up tutorials

I got a Mew in FireRed due to a system overload and it obeys perfectly (when I found it it said it was a Spearow but it had the Mew sprite showing so I caught it and it was a Mew and not a Spearow)

You should use a Obeying Mew or Mew cheat code

In order to catch Mew you must beat the elite 4 exactly 40 times using only a magikarp. Once you beat them 40 times prof oak says you are the most experienced trainer in all of Kanto and he gives you the secret map to catch the boat to get on the island Mew is on. Beating the elite 4 with only a magikarp is hard work but it's totally worth it for a legit Mew !
