Defeat Brock and continue to Route 3; an Aide will stop you and give you the Running Shoes.

Beat the gym leader Brock in Pewter City gym. Go towards the Eastern exit from Pewter City to Mt.Moon. Whilst exiting Professor Oak's aide will stop you and give you the running shoes.

After you defeat Brock, move on to Cerulean. Prof. Oak's Aide will stop you and give you the Running Shoes.

You get them once you've defeated Brock 1st gym go towards mt.moon and prof.Oak's aid gives you them

You get them after beating Brock and head to the next city

After You beat Brock You Head For the Next Town and You Then Will see A Proffesser, Talk To him Then You'll Find out That He's Prof. Birch's Aide. Then he Will Give You Running Shoes that Are From Your Mom.

After going through Virdian Forest, you will arive in Pewter City. After beating the Gym Leader, Brock, continue west and you will find one of Professor Oak's Aids. He will deliver the running shoes from your mother.

How you get Running Shoes: I'm sure you get them before you head into Mt. Moon Talk to the scientist who knows your rivals Grandpa (can't remember the name lol) and your mom gives you a note on the running shoes. I hope this helped
