How do I make the baby use the bathroom?

Believe it or not, that it perfectly normal. Your baby will always need to go to the bathroom, and their bathroom meter will always be red. Just change them every so often and they should be good.

Your baby's bathroom meter will remain red until they "wet them self" then it will become green. At that point when you change their diaper the clean meter will become green and stay green. If you change them before the bathroom meter goes to green you will be stuck in a cycle of changing diapers only to have th be dirty again right away.

The toilet meter for the baby will be used when the baby becomes a toddler. The toddler will be able to use the toilet. (She hauls herself up onto the toilet and her whole body gets blurred out) then you will have control over the toilet icon.

Babies will always have a red meter till they wet themselves then you change them.

Just let the baby stay dirty without changing the diaper until they end up wetting themselves and the toilet meter is green, then change them an they shouldn't need to use the bathroom again.

Just purchased a birthday cake from The Grocery Store and the Status will changed from red to green, I hope this helps

Babies and toddlers are a little confusing in freeplay so I understand why your confused. When a baby needs to go to the bathroom you either:
1. Use 5 LP on a cupcake ( not worth it in my opinion )
Or....
2.Wait until the Bar goes completely red then, like a Adult sim, it will wet itself making the bar fully green.

The baby is very hard to please and sometimes the changing diaper method doesn't work but the meter is halfway. You have to wait till the meter turns red and stink fumes come out of the baby. Once that has happend it has wet herself/himself. The meter will then turn green and you will have to change the diaper

It is perfectly normal for this to happen. Just leave the resttoom meter go to red, then the baby will wet itself,then you can change it. When the baby becomes a toddler, it will be able to use the restroom on it's own. So this is nothing to worry about.

Simple. Wait for the baby's bathroom meter to go red and wait for fumes to come out. Then change the baby's diaper

Save up for 5 LP and make/buy a birthday cake and the baby will turn into a toddler so it is able to go to the toilet

I am having a similar problem, though instead of the Bar going down and the baby not going, mine stays in the center of the bathroom bar. Anyone have suggestions? And please don't say 'use a cupcake'. That costs 5 LP, which can be used to have a birthday and avoid the problem, and I quite frankly do not have 5 LP.

It is impossible for babies to go to the bathroom. Their toilet icon will start off as green, and then gradually get lower and redder until the baby poops in his or her diaper. Then the toilet icon will refill and become green again, but the cleanliness icon will go down a bit. Have one of the Adult Sims change the baby's diaper and viola! The whole process will start over again.

The baby will take care of using the toilet itself. Once the meter is down (red), it will "do it nessesities" itself. Even any sim would do that, if their meter goes down, it will pee on the spot and the meter will refill itself again.

I don't know but changing it's diaper doesn't help for me. It only makes it clean. Try just not doing anything. I will too. Maybe those other comments might work. Good luck!

What you have to do is use the cupcake on the baby but you will have to have five or more life points

Everybody's like: 'omg don't waste your LP on cupcakes!' and I'm like: I glitched Sims and I have 100000 LP xD

[color=yellow] I think it's stupid because they want it to be like the real world so, they make our Sims die. BUT THEY can't LET CHANGING A DIAPER BE COUNTED AS USING THE BATHROOM!!!

Just wait until they wet themselves and then the Bar will go green changing them will also help and when they are a toddler they will be able to go to the toilet and their bar will not always be red

You know if you leave your Adult Sims don't use the bathroom for a while they just go on the floor if you leave the baby for a while it might go in his/her diaper.

If the baby is really red for bathroom then it won't wet the crib or floor like adults. You have to wait for the baby to be a toddler thenew they can go to the bathroom.But can't take a bath on it's own. Ifor you put the baby to sleep the red won't go down.I hope this helped you !

To turn the red toilet icon green you can use rainbow cake which will inspire the sim, full up ball bars and they will no longer need to use bathroom or wait until the baby pees whom self the meter will then turn green. Babies can use toilet once a toddler!

It'll go when it needs to, this is perfectly normal! Sometimes you'll see a little Bar above their heads when you didn't do anything- this means they're going on their own. Confusing as it may be, but the short answer is they'll go when they feel like it, or when the bar is completely low.

You have to "pick up infant" then you have to have a bathtub then press the bathtub whe n you are holding the infant and put it in the battub
