How do I practice firefighting with a neighbor's fire hydrant?

You need to go to a neighbours house tht has the Promotions r us store then ask them to put a fire Hydrant in one of their Houses and then you go on to their house and use it then you have done the goal xxx

I think they should have everything that is required in the sample town, but unfortunately they make you pester your friends. I have one of almost everything for the challenges I have had so far in my town, but have had to skip several challenges (wasting my LPs) to complete them myself.

You just need patience and friends to visit. Try visiting a friend who's town has a rating close to yours or higher. You just have to visit each home in that town. Eventually, you will find a home with the fire Hydrant on or in it's property. Touch it and select the practice feature. You may have to venture off onto your other friend's Towns, but you should find it. It took me 2 towns and about 17 Houses, but I found the hydrant sitting on what appears to be a tarp of some kind. You can find one in your town's Promotions-R-Us store. It takes 3 hours to complete, so move on to other tasks. I hope this helped.

How do I ask a a Sims to put a firefighter in the home

First, you need to tell your Neighbors to buy a fire Hydrant or waste your own money and buy it yourself. When you get to the fire hydrant at the neighbor's house, set their house on fire. When all the Sims have evacuated, and are freaking out about the current situation of their house, turn on the fire hydrant and point it at the sim that you hate the most. You might want to pick a neighbor with a dog for this particular Quest, so that all of the dog's urine over the years sprouts out as well. Be sure to have the sim nowhere near the house, so you don't accidentally put the fire out.
