How do I Unlock Spearfishing Mode?

Spearfishing mode is a new feature that has been added to the Deer Hunter franchise that enables you to hunt fish underwater. You will need to use special weapons suitable for the underwater evironment and also be prepared when hunting underwater for the water making it hard to move around and aim your weapon.

Spearfishing is a separate mode which unlocks after you have earned the 4th trophy in Gunning mode. Once you have unlocked Spearfishing mode you will be able to access it through the Adventures screen. In Spearfishing mode you will need a speargun and a diving suit, although spearguns are divided by regions there is always the option to purchase an upgraded speargun that is suitable for several regions. There are two default diving suits and again there is the option of purchasing an upgrade in the form of Elite suits which have better stats and stat limits.

To progress in Spearfishing mode you need to hunt specific targets in the missions. In each mission there are three targets and you will have to catch each target several times. Each target though has its own chance of appearance which depends on your suits rating so if you are after a particular target and it is not appearing you may have to upgrade your suit. Each submergence will present you with lots of different fish swimming around that will earn you rewards for hunting them.

The list below are the rewards you can earn on each submergence.

Success Reward

kill any fish before the time runs out to get this reward. You may continuously get this reward even if you've completed all available regions.

Star Reward

Finish all your targets for this mission to get a star and its corresponding reward.

Target Reward

Each catch of a Target Fish gives its own unique reward. You may get several target rewards with each dive.
