How do you solve the Murder of Madame Shu

The Murder of Madame Shu is an incident that occurs aboard the Noelani whilst en route to Honolulu from Yokohama. Madame Shu is the artificer and key engineer aboard the Noelani, an experimental hovercraft that could potentially revolutionise transport across the pacific ocean when she is brutally murdered in the ships engine room.

Passepartout discovers the body and what happens next is like something out of a Hercule Poirot as the Captain of the Noelani accuses Passepartout and Fogg of the crime and gives them until their arrival in Honolulu to prove their innocence by uncovering the real culprit.

There are four suspects;

Captain Keake:

The Noelani's captain and a close friend of Madame Shu.

Mr. Jaffer:

A disgraced former police detective.

Ms. Carlotta:

The wealthy owner of a shipping company.

General Peters:

An elderly and somewhat xenophobic ex-officer in the British army.

The following steps will show you how to solve the case.

Step 1 - First Day:

Go to the scene of crime. Try to recreate the crime. Continue as you wish.

Step 2 - Second Day:

Go to Mr. Jaffers. Ask about how the time was an approximate guess.

Step 3 - Third Day:

Go to Mr. Peters. Learn about the noise the engine makes, and just before you leave, you'll learn about Shu and Carlotta. Continue the conversation and leave.

Step 4 - Meeting:

1) Her body was cold because of a blast of cold air.

2) There was no scream because the engine whistle covered it up.

3) Carlotta had business arrangments with Shu, and there was nothing to threaten her business.

4) Skip the personalities in the room thing.

5) Tell them about the steam valve when they ask after you finish. Then finally blame Carlotta.
