You earn points by dealing damage and taking down enemy aircraft. You’ll also gain additional bonus points for helping out teammates take down their target or by covering their rear. You’ll also get more points by downing higher tier aircraft, especially if you’re using a lower tier aircraft yourself. You’ll also get a score penalty for crashing.
The target aircraft’s remaining HP will also matter. If you managed to shoot down a full health target, you’ll get its full amount of points. However, if you just managed to shoot down a damaged target, you’ll only get a portion of its points. The other points will go to the other players who landed the shots on the same target.
High-scoring pilots will have stars on their names. Shooting down these high-scorers will award you with higher points as well, allowing you to close the gap faster. Likewise, if you’re the top scorer, expect enemy players to hunt you down more often.
At the end of the match, you’ll be evaluated based on the number of kills, hits landed, and assists provided. The MRP you'll receive will depend on your score for the match.
