Question for The Sims FreePlay
How does the baby go to the toilet and get clean? When I select the baby, the only option is sleep. I keep changing the diaper, but the toilet and cleaning bar have gone down to red.

The baby will take care of the potty needs him/herself. It takes awhile for it to happen and when it goes, you'll know because it will have stink clouds all around him/her. Hope this helps!!! :-)

You have to wait until the stink cloud appears on the baby. If the person changing the baby is not a best friend the baby will continue to have a stink cloud and go back to red. To make someone a best friend let them keep cuddling the baby to change the relationship Status

The previous answer is not true. My infant's mom is his best friend and cuddling never Changes the Status. There is no way to take the infant to the bathroom and changing the diaper only bathes the child and inspires the soap. The end result is using LP to inspire all categories which is a waste when it only benefits one category you hav eno control over.

I also had the same problem with having to use cupcakes to get rid of the stink cloud. Today, however, I placed the crib away from the wall and had an Adult sim (just an acquaintance) change his diaper. It worked! I had tried everything to no avail (having only "mom" change the diaper, placing the crib in the bathroom, inspiring the baby BEFORE changing his diaper,.....) but this worked for me (finally)! Hope it works for you.

I also moved the crib away from wall and the baby was changed and washed, fed, cuddled and played with until it glittered green for happiness. Currently sleeping for 4 hours while mom works and dad plants. Thanks for the advice!

The baby or toddler will take care of the bathroom problem by themselves today I tried something else try this if there is a stink cloud have a best friend of the baby or toddler change there diaper and the stink cloud will be gone

You have to pick up the baby from its crib then change its diaper. Then you'll have to change its diaper again to get its hygiene levels back up to green.
I keep cleaning the diaper, but the potty wont change from red:(

The baby goes to the toilet by itself, in the diaper, like a human baby, when this happens their toilet need will be full but not their cleanliness. Then stink clouds will appear. To take care of this click the baby and click change diaper. This will bring his cleanliness right up. Hope this helps

To do so, you click on the baby and one option will be "change diaper". You'll be able to tell when the Bar goes up and the Adult tosses the baby in the air. If it doesn't work, call the Sims manager at 555-689-1265.

Only adults and teens can look after the baby, if you have an adult or teen highlighted then you can click on the baby in its cot and the options are - "have birthday" which requires you to bake a birthday cake at a stove (costs 5LP) "change diaper" this raises the cleanliness bar "cuddle" this raises the communication bar "entertain" this raises the excersise bar and finally "give food" which raises the hunger bar. However, as far as I know, there is no other way apart from just waiting for the baby to wet itself, to raise the toilet barGuest answered:
I actually had the baby's mom pick up the baby, walk to the bathroom and click on the bathtub and now she's giving her baby a bath. Took me forever to figure this out! Hope this works!
