The game dynamically changes as it cycles through the day and night, but how long does each day actually take to play out in the Hogwarts Legacy.

Well we think that there is no set time period for the day and night to change in Hogwarts Legacy, rather it is controlled by the current mission or plot of the game.

So for example if you are playing a quest that is based in the night time,t he game should automatically reflect that time and cycle you to the night automatically.

Apart from night and day being dictated by the plot of the game, you can also manually change the game to be daytime or night time, here's how.

After completing the Welcome to Hogsmeade quest, you can control time by going to the game map and clicking the Wait icon. Then you can choose to advance to day to night or night to day.
