Buy the Fashion studio from The Hobby Shop. Fashion designing is like becoming a Ghost Hunter though and will replace your sim's current Hobby.

Go to Hobby center purchase it.

You need to go to The Hobby Shop known as Promotions r us and get Fashion designing and I would get a designer house

To become a Fashion Designer, you will need to get to a Goal that tells you to buy a Business, I think you get two of these, the first one, you will not get the option of Promotions R us, but, the second time, it will. It is two icons away from The Salon, beneath the Park.
Then, buy the Fashion Designer set

You have to purchase and build the promotion store

It is Promotions r us. Like Toys r us. Next to Pet store and below Park. I know rcause before I dealeated my game for a 3rd time (cause I didn't have space) I just got it. You can also buy a lot of other things. If you also want the Fishing buy the park but you can lose a sim if you fail. With the Fashion designer your clothes only break so the Fashion Designer is the best Hobby

You need to buy Promotions r us next to The Salon , then purchase a Fashion designer desk , you can then select your designs from the costume shop

Next to the shop where it sells stuff like hair,tattoos,and that, there is a Pet shop.Next to that is The Hobby Shop or Promotions R Us tap on that and build it.When it's done..you can buy things for hobbies...In your case, a Fashion studio.

You need to buy the Fashion studio from the Promotions "R" Us Shop.It costs 150,000 Simoleons to build the shop if your town is valued 1,250,000 Simoleons.

The price is not the same on 5th and 22nd lvl. By the way, I can't Finder in Promotion r' us the workshop studio. I only have Athlete, Artist, firefighter, Scientist, Politician and two musicians, one for free. No workshop studio. Is it because I don't have the costiume shop, or somethin??

Actually everyone has the Promotions r us on their Sims free play it is on the same block as the Pets shop and The Salon and it is next door to The Pet Shop but aslo you have to be past the Quest where you build a Business.
P.S FYI it actually costs one thousand Simoleons .

If I want to build this now it will cost 250,000 Simoleons. The more value your town has the more things cost you, which I'm not happy about. In real money that's about 45-50 dollars depending on your package.

It cost different prices depending on your level and Town Value. It cost me 150,000 Simoleons and I am on level 17 and my town value is a little over 1,400,000

If you havent updated your game, you might not have Promotions r us (it's called this because there are Items like easals and soccor balls that can help your sim get a promotion). The only Hobby item is a the fasion station which, if your sim is a Fashion designer, can also get you a promotion. The cost of the shop depends on how many other buildings you have and your level. The shop is located to the right of The Pet Shop and the Fashion Studio is across the street from The Salon

Hey if you hate how everything costs more when your Town Value goes up, here's a cheat that gets you unlimited Simoleons and I swear it works!!!!! All you have to do is, if you haven't already, build the Children's store. Then, go to the store and go to the preteens tab. Scroll through until you get to this blue punching bag thingy (it comes right after the trampolines) and you'll see it is free. Buy a lot and then go to your house and sell them- they are $900 each!!! How awesome is that? Free to buy, and they'll give you a ton of money. Now you don't have to worry about hacking Cheats or time cheats or some ridiculous thing that doesn't even work! 👍$$$$

It's too complicated to reach the Goals

Go to Promotions R Us Store (located 2 icons after beauty salon). Then you would buy the thing for Fashion designers (prices may vary). After this you would place it in house and use it. That would turn into the Sims Hobby. You're done!

Okay here is a detailed answer First you need to have the Promotions R Us store then buy the Fashion studio that they sell, it's like $2500. Then put it in any house where your Sims can aproach it in front. Finally tap the studio and choose wether you want to design clothes to design the next big thing! And like Fishing a ! Will appear, click it and you will most likely have created the leather fisherman hat. Hope this helped!
