How to unlock more skins?

Take note that you can’t change your skins and emblems until you complete the first playthrough. After that, you’ll be able to freely customize your plane’s appearance when doing another playthrough in Campaign mode.

Generally, you’ll unlock more skins for each aircraft by doing the following:

* Complete the campaign once to unlock the skins for Mage, Spare, and Strider squadrons.

* Shoot down individual Aces from each missions to unlock their respective skins.

* Obtain skins as pre-order DLCs/ bonuses

However, certain aircraft will have specific requirements to unlock their corresponding 2nd or 3rd skins. If you highlight the locked slot, the game will display the conditions needed to unlock that skin. Here are some of the special conditions we have discovered so far. (list still incomplete)

X-02S

02: Complete the campaign in less than 4 hours

03: Destroy all named aircraft in campaign mode

F-22A

02: Complete all campaign missions and obtain S-rank in all of them in Hard difficulty

SU-57

02: Destroy a total of 3000 enemies in campaign mode

F-104C

02: Complete the campaign mode while only using the machine gun

03: Complete all campaign missions and obtain S-rank in all of them in the hardest difficulty

A-10C

02: Shoot down a total of 200 enemy aircraft using only the machine gun in campaign mode

F-14D

03: Complete all campaign missions and obtain S-rank in all of them in Normal difficulty

F-16C

02: Sortie more than 50 times in Multiplayer mode

F-35C

02: Destroy a total of 100 or more rival aircraft in Multiplayer mode

SU-30M2

03: Complete Mission 20: Dark Blue using guns only. (got this during my Machine Gun Maniac run on Easy mode, after the last mission of the campaign)

02: Complete campaign mode without taking any damage

02: Complete a particular mission in campaign mode while fulfilling certain conditions

02: Destroy a total of 100 enemy ships in campaign mode
