For this to work: in the gameshark cheat list enable the infinite exp cheat when it says you recieve your experience from the battle. This will start to level you up and when you want it to stop you have to disable the infinite exp cheat in you gameshak cheat list

This worked on mine so I don't know if it will work on everyones but give it a try and tell me if it works.

Note: If you want to stop leveling up a Pokemon, just disable the cheat.
