Happy Glass is a free-to-play physics-based puzzle game where he objective is to fill up a glass with water. You use a pen tool to draw a shape on the screen which the game interacts with when the water is released. Solving the puzzle will earn you stars, the number you are awarded is determined by the amount of ink you have left in the bar at the top of the screen. Most of the puzzles only have one way that they can be completed but all of them will adhere to the laws of physics and most are relatively easy to solve.
Draw Carefull
When you are in a level that involves a lot of drawing you need to make sure you draw carefully and precisely and most important of all keep it simple so you don't waste ink. You also need to make sure you don't touch any objects in the scene as doing so will cause the pen tool to freeze. If you find you get 3 stars for completing a puzzle it usually means that you should improve your drawing a bit by using shorter lines.
Try a Different Approach
Happy Glass has been designed so that each level needs a totally different approach to solve it. What worked on a few previous levels may not work this time around and will require a totally new solution. What you need to remember is the problem is usually quite simple so if you are struggling for an answer you may be trying something a lot more complicated than what the level requires. There will be times though that you will need to use a bit of imagination to solve the puzzle.
Pen Power
Draw the letter 'N' when you need added weight to topple over a platform, make a blockade, or stop water from flowing in a certain direction. You can also draw a line using the pen tool to bind two objects together to form a bridge and prevent the cup from falling. Remember that it takes a lot of ink to knock over the cup so don't be afraid to draw up to its tip.
Scene Objects
The game will never give you elements in a puzzle for no reason at all, whatever you are given will somehow need to be implimented to solve the problem. In levels that has several objects you may find yourself having to move fast and draw lines in various places in order to complete the puzzle.
Free Prizes
After each level you will be given the option to watch a video advertising another game. Although after watching a few of these adverts they can become a bit tedious it will not only support the developers of the game but will also give you rewards which makes it worth it. The rewards you can get include coins that can be used to unlock new hints and entirely free hints.
Use Hints
There will be times when you will encounter a puzzle that will appear unsolvable. In these instances you should use a hint. When you use a hint the game will basically tell you where to draw to solve the puzzle. Remember that hints are expensive and should be used sparingly.
If you get totally stuck on any of the first 150 puzzles the video below will enable you to watch the solution.
