Kirby Star Allies Walkthrough and Guide

Kirby Star Allies is the newest game apart of the Kirby Video Games Series, having been released worldwide on March 16, 2018. The game was developed by none other than Hal Laboratory, being published, of course, by the Nintendo Company. The game was released exclusively to the Nintendo Switch, the first of its kind in regards to the Kirby Video Games Series as a whole.

Kirby Star Allies sees everyone's favorite pink hero, Kirby, make his grand return to video games. Like before, Kirby still possesses the power to absorb the power of other creatures simply by eating them, which he can then, in turn, use against opposing Enemies. This time around, however, this ability won't be enough for little Kirby, who must enlist the help of others with the power of Friend Jamba Hearts.

The game is played in none other than in 2.5D, something that has become quite popular as of late for fighting/adventure type video games. While all the characters of the game will have Full 3D Models, Kirby's epic tale will take place on various 2D Planes. The game is very similar to what you will find in the Injustice Series, the Marvel vs Capcom Series, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and the upcoming newest version of the Yoshi Series, to name a few. The gameplay will also see Kirby having the chance to have up to three different allies help him along his newest journey at any given, allowing up to four players to play at once during the entire game.

The Main Story of Kirby Star Allies, at first anyways, is quite reminiscent of previous Kirby Video Games. It begins in a part of space far away from Planet Popstar, where a shadowed figure casts a spell that causes Jamba Hearts to scatter across the universe. These Jamba Hearts, should they come in touch with anyone, immediately causes them to become corrupt. When one falls upon Kirby, however, it grants him the ability to cast Friend Hearts to befriend anyone, curing them of said corruption. After this occurs, Kirby notices Waddle Dees carrying food to King Dedede's Castle, making it appear as though the king is up to no good again. However, things take a much more dark and complex turn the more Kirby's journey unfolds.
