Marvel Battle Lines features all your favourite characters from the Marvel universe. It is a strategic, turn-based card battle game that is essentially tic-tac-toe with virtual cards.

You play the role of a civilian who has accidentally become infused with a shard of the Cosmic Cube. This has given you the power to see superheroes and villains as trading cards which can do battle on a playing field. You must strategically pick cards that will not only knock opponents off the grid but also deplete the health of the enemy on the other side of the board.

The objective is to find the optimal cards to encapsulate three or four characters in a verticle or horizontal line so those those characters unleash a powerful attack on everything in its radius. Every card you place, every fragment on the field you obtain, holds a strategy behind it as you try to accomplish your objective of defeating the enemy leader while protecting your own.

More Cards

Try to go as far into the Campaign as possible as doing so will enable you to receive plenty of extra cards which will give you more options for upgrading your deck and a wider variety of cards to choose from in battles.

Replay Campaign Stages

If there is a particular card you are focussing on collecting you can always replay completed campaign stages that reward it to increase your chances of getting it.

Arena Rewards

Once you have got as far as you can in the Campaign and you feel you have a decent deck and strategy you should then shift your attention to the Arena. The battles you will encounter in the Arena will become more difficult as you climb up the ranks but the rewards you will recieve for winning battles will justify the risk.

Improve Card Stats

Inevitably as you collect more and more cards you will start to get doubles. Once you have accumulated enough doubles you will be able to upgrade your cards in order to improve their stats which will increase your chances of winning battles with them. It is recommended that you start upgrading cards once you reach level 15.

Daily & Weekly Mission Rewards

Get into the habit of completing as many daily and weekly missions as possible. These missions are relatively easy and are worth taking advantage of to get the rewards they give.

Participate in Events

Always keep an eye out for any events that are taking place in Marvel Battle Lines. Check them out and if possible take part in them as they usually give great rewards.
