WWE 2K19 is the latest release in the annual sports franchise and retains the same core gameplay the game has featured for years. As well as the annual roster update this years edition has some slight changes implimented into it to make the in-ring action faster paced and the actual wrestling aspect of the game more simplified.
WWE 2K19 features many different returning and new game modes, one of which is 2k Showcase mode which focuses on the career of Daniel Bryan and includes his Velocity match against John Cena. Debuting is a feature called Towers, in this new mode players choose WWE Superstars or their MyPLAYERs to compete against a string of WWE Superstar opponents. There is also an updated Road to Glory mode where players can join Factions and earn special rewards as they compete against other MyPLAYERS online.
