Legacy Beast Locations Guide

An integral part of Hogwarts Legacy is finding the Hogwarts Legacy beasts and rescuing them from the harsh realities of the outside world and allow them to live in peace in the Vivarium. This is a serene garden that is accessed via the Hogwarts Legacy Room of Requirement where you can keep the magical beasts you rescue as pets. How to Catch a Legacy Beast

In order to capture a Hogwarts Legacy Beast you will need to use a Nab-Sack spell. The Nab-sack spell can be obtained during the main story quest 'The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and the Loom'. A player level of 15 is required to play the mission. During the mission the house elf Neek will teach you how to capture magical beasts and how to care for them in your Vivariums.

Legacy Beast Materials

In total there are thirteen different magical beasts scattered around the Highlands of Hogwarts Legacy and they each grant a material that can be used to upgrade and assign traits to gear. Listed below is the monster and the material it drops.

Hippogriff: Hippogriff Feather

Jobberknoll: Jobberknoll Feather
