Leveling Up

If you want the coolest and best items for your ninja, then you will want to prioritize leveling up. Leveling up is fairly straightforward - you need to earn as much XP as possible until you reach the threshold for the next level. This is indicated by a bar in the corner of the screen.

Every time you level up you will receive some sort of incentive, whether that's a new belt, a free item, gems or an unlocked section of your ninja kit.

the best techniques for leveling up are concentrated on getting as much XP as possible in as short a time as possible. Generally the greater level an item is unlocked at, the more XP it will give you, but the longer it will take to be repaired (the cooldown timer from other games). The trick is to choose an item depending on when you will be able to return to the game. It's fine to use a high-level item that takes hours to repair if you won't be back in the game for that long, but if you will be wanting to play all day then short cooldown items may be better.

If you are going away from the game for a while, use as many long-cooldown items as possible so that you make the most of the time away. Remember that you can normally use Gems or perform a task (watching a video or tweeting about the game, to repair an item without the wait)

Note: If you perform the same task too many times without varying your ninja's routine with some other activities then you may not earn XP for it, so be sure to keep him on his toes and having fun with lots of different tasks.
