The next group is magical damage powerhouses. You have to change your support abilities and equipment once again. Unfortunately, Absorb Magic Damage (Arcanist JLV4) and Angel Ward won’t be that much of a help here since this team can deal tremendous amounts of damage per attack, making it almost impossible to survive their attacks. If you have access to Rise from the Dead (Vampire JLV14) and See You in Hell (Dark Knight JLV5), they might be a good addition as well. A Spiritmaster can use Stillness to stall the relentless magic attacks of these enemies, allowing you to store some BP and heal up. Another helpful spiritmaster skill is Adaptation which will allow one ally to absorb all elements for four turns. However, Qada’s Fire Bane can overwrite its effect so you may want to use this once you get inflicted by Fire-weakness. You can also force him to use Fire Bane instead of his Dark Breath by continuously casting Adaptation. |
As much as you want to take out Qada first, refrain from doing so since you’ll be in trouble if you dealt him enough damage to allow his Dark Breath to deal maximum damage. He also has a new move, Fire-bane which will make your party weak to fire attacks. This is counted as a status ailment so you can get free 2 BPs if you have BP Recovery support ability equipped to your characters. |
Yulyana will also cast Reflect to the entire group, which will allow them to reflect group-targeting spells back and concentrating its damage to maximum. Mephilia will use Promethean Fire as her primary means of attack. Since this is a summon, this can bypass Reflect and will take advantage of your weakness to fire, making it a very dangerous attack you have to survive every turn. You can cast Reflect to your healers to help them survive the attacks. That said, you have to take out Mephilia first then Yulyana to prevent him from casting the dreaded reflect. Leave Qada for last since his Dark Breath will deal 0 damage as long as you don’t damage him. This is a very difficult team to face so far and they can easily wipe out your party even if you’re not prepared. If you have some SP drinks in stock, it will be a good chance to use them in this battle. |
Hasten World + Haste-shoes on your spirit master:
Keep your party immune by cycling stillness (to rebuff/gain BP) and enigma (to deal damage)
Use BP-Boost to get enough BP for this.
IF possible have three physical dps with strong single target.
Mages need dispel to directly target a correct one.
hi
nah, enigma is another skill!
It's enigma, and not adaptation
