Operation Deer Horn

If you’re a fan of the series, you’ll immediately feel at home with the mission objectives and controls. For now, concentrate on taking out the targets since campaign missions can be hard to S-rank in the first playthrough. This mission is very simple and straightforward. You just need to engage and shoot down enemies as they appear in the operations area. Remember to toggle your radar as needed. Mission is completed once all targets have been shot down.

The F-16C is great for first timers. Make sure to fire your 4AAM only when you’re either flying Head-on or when directly behind the targets. You don’t have parts unlocked at the moment so you’ll be relying on the default capacity of this SP weapon. Make sure to shoot down all escorts as well to increase your score.

Huang Xuan Tai “Pyro” (Mig-21)

Appears as a lone blip in the northwest grid after destroying the third bomber squadron (TU-95 x2 with Mig-21 x2 escorts). Watch out for Golem 1 Knocker’s radio message “I’ll give you some pointers back at base, if you can make it in one piece”. The ace will appear in the specified spot shortly after that message. Rank S Tips

Aircraft with great speed will allow you to catch up and engage targets faster. Take out multiple targets quickly using multi-target, air-to-air SP weapons like 4AAM, 6AAM, or 8AAM.
