Multiplayer - Perks

COD Black Ops 2 now allows you to choose the loadout you prefer through the “Create-A-Class” system. You'll be given 10 points to select the perks, weapons, attachments and equipment of your preference. This will enable you to remove, add or interchange various gears and perks to suit your style.


You can remove some perks to free up points to allocate to your weapons, attachments and grenades or tactical equipment. In the other hand, you can also limit your weapons and equipment to get additional perks. There are a total of 6 perks which can be increased by a slot with the help of Wildcards. However, Wildcards also take up one allocation point, so getting an extra slot for each perk will leave you with a single weapon with no attachments. Choosing the right perks for your “class”, weapon loadout or playing style will go a long way.

Perk 1

 

Lightweight
Move faster. You take no damage when falling


Hardline
Earn scorestreaks faster by getting additional points per action.


Blind Eye
Undetectable by AI-controlled air support. Take note that AI can be overidden manually so players can still see you when that happens.


Flak Jacket
Take less explosive damage. This increases your survivability against most explosive weapons which can easily take you out instantly otherwise.


Ghost

Cannot be detected by enemy UAV's while moving, planting or defusing a bomb, or while controlling score streaks.


 

Perk 2

Toughness
Flinch less when shot


Cold-Blooded
Resistant to targeting systems including: Dual Band, Target Finder, Sensor Grenade, MMS and player-controlled aircraft. No name or red-crosshair when targeted.


Fast-hands
Swap weapons and use equipment faster. Reset the fuse when throwing back grenades


Scavenger
Replenish ammo and equipment from enemies killed by non-explosive weapons


Hard Wired
Immune to counter-UAV and EMP


 

Perk 3

Dexterity
Aim faster when sprinting; mantle and climb faster.


Extreme Conditioning
Sprint longer


Tactical Mask
Reduce the effects of flashbangs, concussion grenades and shock charges.


Awareness
Enemy movements are easier to hear


Dead Silence
Move silently


Engineer
show enemy equipment in the map. Delay triggered explosives. Reroll and booby trap Care Packages.


WILDCARDS

Perk 1 Greed
Take a second Perk 1


Perk 2 Greed
Take a second Perk 2


Perk 3 Greed
Take a second Perk 3


Primary Gunfighter
Take a 3rd attachment to your primary weapon


Secondary Gunfighter
Take a 2nd attachment to your primary weapon


Overkill
Take a primary weapon as your second weapon


Tactician
Take a tactical grenade in place of your lethal grenade


Danger Close
Take a second lethal
