Question for The Sims FreePlay
My baby needs a diaper change. When I change the diaper, it immediately reverts right back to it needing a diaper change. I have moved the crib, had different sims change the diaper and to no avail. Any ideas?

I had the same problem & searched on the Internet but could only find the same question but no answer. But I have just used a cupcake to make the baby fully inspired & it's worked!

Im confused on what guest was saying..ive changed a babies diaper before but it was a lomg time ago and i cant remember how i done it. Can someone please help. It gives me the option to but it doesnt fix or fill up the bar when i do change itGuest answered:

you need to wait till the baby has an accident, then when you change it the bathroom and cleanliness bar will fill up

I usually just wait and eventually the baby goes on it's own, ofourse then the hygiene us way down, but it still works

The baby pees on it's own, just wait. Then bladder Bar goes to green. Then change it to make it clean. It won't pee til the bladder is completely red/empty. Got this from ea games tutorial.

Make sure the sim changing the baby is a good friend and is fully inspired, this will fill the toilet Bar of the baby and change his/her diaper to fill up the cleanliness bar.

Move the crib away from the way. If their is anything close, you won't be able to change the diaper no matter who it is. So put the crib in an open area. It will ask you to make the room bigger the goal after I believe.

I had the same problem. On closer inspection the crib can only be accessed from one side, so I moved it away from a wall and the accessible side facing the direction the other Sims can easily access. Problem sorted. If in doubt, just experiment moving the crib until it allows the diaper to be changed.

Rotate the crib so that babys head is facing the front of the house. If you look closely at the crib you will see one side is closed, solid. The other side shows slats like a crib. That is the side your Adult Sims need access to.

A: There is no action to bring the baby's bladder meter back up. When the bladder meter runs low, the baby will dirty it's diaper. When this happens, it's bladder meter will fill and their hygiene meter will go down. The user can then change the baby's diaper to increase it's hygiene meter.

All you need to do is cuddle with the baby to become friends and it will then allow you to change the baby's diaper

With me it was because I did not place the babybed correctly against the wall, so make sure it is accessible for the Adult change the diaper.

To change the diaper...you just be come friends with the baby. Then it will indicate "change diaper".
How to make the meter go back up. You only have to wait until the meter is empty.Then change her diaper and it should go back up.

Your baby will just wet itself and the bathroom meter will go right back up to green! But you will have to clean it up.

OK THIIS IS HOW IT WORKS. You can't improve the baby's bladder box thing when it is only half full. But once it is empty, the baby will dirty their diaper and THEN you can change it. Not before.

Buy a bath tub in you're home store then pick up baby..then click on the bathtub and it will then tell you to bathe infant..

If you have an infant here are some steps to make sure that they stay clean STEP 1:TAP ON INFANT WITH AN Adult SIM THEN TAP CHANGE DIAPER
STEP 2 : TAP ON INFANT WITH AN Adult SIM AND THEN TAP PICK UP INFANT THEN FOR THE NEXT STEP you NEED TO HAVE A BATH TUB AND IF you DO YOUR ADULT SIM WHO IS HOLDING THE INFANT NEEDS TO TAP ON THE TUB THEN TAP BATHE INFANT. That's all and it should work

Have a sim back a birthday cake. It take a full day to be ready. Once that’s done give the baby a birthday party. He then will be 1 and able to go to the restroom by he/she self
